Djordje Romanic

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Atmospheric and Oceanic Sciences at McGill University. My research is on boundary-layer meteorology, applied and dynamics meteorology. I also serve as an Adjunct Research Professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Western University.

» Curriculum Vitae

My research group is particularly interested in the dynamics of thunderstorm winds and downbursts, tornadoes, urban boundary-layer processes and their links to sustainability & resilience, as well as the application of atmospheric sciences to wind engineering and wind energy sectors. To tackle these research topics, we use analytical approach, numerical modelling as well as physical experimentation in wind tunnels.
